July 18: Thursday Depart from home
Let the adventure begin when you board your overnight Virgin Atlantic Airways overnight flight to London with meals and a movie on board.
July 19: Friday London
Arrive at London this afternoon where you will connect with Virgin Atlantic flight to Nairobi, the safari capital of the world.
July 20: Saturday Arusha
Welcome to Africa! Arrive in Nairobi this morning and proceed to transfer desk for Precision Air flight to Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania. On arrival, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for lunch and dinner. Mt Village Serena Lodge
July 21/22: Sunday/Monday Tarangire National Park
Early departure to Tarangire National Park, named after the river that flows through the length of the park and provides a constant water source for the thousands of animals making their home here. A late afternoon game drive will bring you close to a large variety of wildlife. Two more game drives are planned for the next day.

July 23/24: Tuesday/Wednesday Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast we will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area; host to the ‘birthplace of man’. It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “big five” – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. This afternoon depart on a half day tour of the crater. Next day, proceed on an early morning tour of the crater. Later this afternoon, enjoy photographing the wilderness landscape in the surrounding area. (BLD) Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
July 25/26: Thursday/Friday Serengeti Plains
Continue your journey to the heart of the world’s best-known park, the Serengeti. The park is named after the Masai word, ‘Siringet’ for endless plains of short and long grass. The Serengeti is well known for its large prides of lions, cheetah, leopard, elephants and it’s tremendous variety and numbers of plains animals. Arrive in time for lunch and a late afternoon game drive. Next day continue to explore the Serengeti Plains with a morning and afternoon game drive in the park. (BLD) Serengeti Serena Lodge
July 27: Saturday Nairobi
This morning fly to Kilimanjaro. On arrival, transfer to a nearby lodge for lunch. Return to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (BLD) Ole Sereni Hotel
July 28/29: Sunday/Monday Lake Nakuru National Park
Drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park once described by ornithologist Roger Tory-Peterson as ‘the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world’. Afternoon game
viewing drive along the lakeshore. Famous for millions of flamingos, Lake Nakuru has recently become well known as one of the premier places in Africa to see rare and endangered rhinos. Both black and white rhino species easily are found in the park. Next day’s activities include 2 game drives. (BLD) Lion Hill Lodge
July 30/31: Tuesday/Wednesday Masai Mara National Park
We will eat an early breakfast then drive a short distance (on smooth paved highway) to Lake Naivasha for lunch. After lunch we will fly to an airstrip near our lodge in Kenya’s most famous National park, the Masai Mara. The Mara is home to the annual migration where millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle trek from the Serengeti plains into the Mara. At this time of year the plains are normally loaded with wildlife as the great migration swarms into the Mara on it’s annual migratory cycle. Later this afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara. (BLD) Keekorok Lodge
August 01/02: Thursday/Friday Masai Mara National Park
Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. For the next nights, accommodation is set directly in the heart of the Mara Plains for maximum photographic experience. Two more days to enjoy the beauty and wilderness of the Mara with an early morning and afternoon game drives. (BLD) Mara Intrepids Tented Camp
August 03: Saturday Nairobi/London
Morning game drive followed by a bush breakfast. Later transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. August 04: Sunday London/Los Angeles
