August 28: Friday                                         Depart from home

Let the adventure begin when you board your overnight Virgin Atlantic Airways overnight flight to London with meals and a movie on board.

August 29: Saturday                                                London

Arrive at London this afternoon where you will connect with Virgin Atlantic flight to Nairobi, the safari capital of the world.

August 30: Sunday                                              Arusha

Welcome to Africa! Arrive in Nairobi this morning and proceed to transfer desk for Precision Air flight to Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will be met by our representative to your hotel for lunch and dinner.  (LD) Serena Mountain Village Lodge

August 31/Sep 01: Monday/Tuesday                  Tarangire National Park
This morning drive to Tarangire National Park, named after the river that flows through the length of the park and provides a constant water source for the thousands of animals making their home here. Lunch is at the lodge and a late afternoon game drive will bring you close to a large variety   of wildlife. Two more game drives are planned for the next day.  (BLD) Tarangire Safari Lodge

September 02/03: Wednesday/Thursday               Ngorongoro Crater 

Early departure for Ngorongoro Conservation area; host to the ‘birthplace of man’. It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “big five” – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. This afternoon depart on a half day tour of the crater.  Next day, proceed on an early morning tour of the crater. Later this afternoon, enjoy photographing the wilderness landscape in the surrounding area. (BLD) Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

September 04/05: Friday/Saturday                        Amboseli National Park

Early morning drive to Arusha for lunch and proceed to the border town of Namanga into Kenya where you will change vehicles and drivers and continue to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Amboseli National Park is the location where you can photograph elephants and other wildlife with Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. The following day we will have an early morning and afternoon game drives. (BLD) Ol Tukai Lodge

September 06: Sunday                                              Nairobi 

Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge.  Later this afternoon continue to Nairobi for an overnight. (BLD) Ole Sereni Hotel

September 07: Monday                                             Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast, we will proceed to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you will be able to pet young rescued elephants. We will continue to the Giraffe Center where you have an opportunity to pet and feed the Rothschild
giraffes. This afternoon we will board our plane for a short flight to the Kenya’s most famous National park, the Masai Mara. We are going to the Mara to photograph the big cats, lions, leopards and cheetahs along with many other animals that live in the Mara all year round. Afternoon game drive enroute to our camp. September 08/09/10/11:: Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri              Masai Mara National Park

Four full days to enjoy the beauty and wilderness of the Mara with an early morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is home to the annual migration where millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle trek from the Serengeti plains into the Mara.  At this time of year the plains are normally loaded with wildlife as the great migration swarms into the Mara on it’s annual migratory cycle.  Morning and afternoon game drives are planned to explore and photograph the abundant wildlife. September 12: Saturday                 Nairobi/London

Morning game drive followed by a bush breakfast. Later transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon time to relax or do some last minute shopping.  Dinner and later transfer to the airport for flight to London.(BLD) Ole Sereni Hotel

September 13: Sunday                                                London/Los Angeles

This morning connect your Virgin Atlantic flight to Los Angeles. Arrive home to share pleasant memories of your trip to Tanzania and Kenya with family and friends.
