February 11: Thursday   Nairobi, Kenya

Jambo! Welcome to Kenya. Upon arrival our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi for the overnight. Ole Sereni Hotel (D)                                               

February 12: Friday   Masai Mara

After breakfast, we will continue to the Giraffe Center where you have an opportunity to pet and feed the Rothschild giraffes. We will proceed to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where you will be able to pet young rescued elephants. This afternoon we will board our plane for a short flight to the Kenya’s most famous National park, the Masai Mara. We are going to the Mara to photograph the big cats, lions, leopards and cheetahs along with many other animals that inhabit the Mara all year round. Afternoon game drive en route to our camp.

February 13/14/15: Sat/Sun/Mon   Masai Mara

Three full days are spent in the central section of the Mara Plains with morning and after noon game drives with unlimited photographic opportunities to capture the scenic beauty of the Mara plains and the wildlife that roam the open grasslands. Mara Bush Camp (BLD)

February 16: Tuesday   Arusha, Tanzania

Morning game drive followed by breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where you will have lunch and later connect with your flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Arusha Serena Lodge (BLD)

February 17/18: Wed/Thu   Ngorongoro Crater 

Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area; host to the ‘birthplace of man’. It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “big five” – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. Enjoy lunch as you descend to the crater floor. Next day, a full day game drive in the crater is planned with lunch in the bush. February 19/20/21/22: Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon   Serengeti Plains

Today’s journey passes through the scenic areas of the southeastern Serengeti plains. This time of the year is the birthing season when many babies are born. Three days are earmarked to witness nature’s greatest spectacle, the migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle which in turn brings out the predators. Daily morning and afternoon game drives are planned for many outstanding photographic opportunities. Your accommodation is at the luxury tented camp strategically located in the area which is alive with the migration. Lake Masek Luxury Tented Camp (BLD)

February 23: Tuesday     Arusha/Depart

Morning game drive is followed by breakfast. From here, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha where a room is reserved until 6:00 pm to relax, repack or do some last minute shopping.
