G Kabue – Professional Photographic Tour Leader
Born and raised in Kenya’s Rift Valley, I developed a passion for wildlife and conservation from an early young age. My involvement with the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, as well as my training in Tourism and Research, combined with internships at Photographic Tour Leader Nairobi National Park and Mara Bush Camp, I have honed my guiding skills and deepened my knowledge of Kenya’s rich biodiversity. Since joining Sunworld Safaris in 2010, I have guided numerous photo safaris with Paul Renner, along with other groups, families, and guests from the United States and many other countries.
I am excited and look forward to meeting you and help you to explore and experience the beauty and abundant wildlife of Kenya.
The Great Migration Safari
For thousands of years, the vast grasslands of East Africa have played host to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth – the Great Migration. Each year, from May to October, thousands of wildebeest, gazelle, and zebra embark on an epic trek from the Serengeti Plains in Tanzania to the lush pastures of Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. The largest concentration gathers on the Masai Mara plains between July and October, after beginning their journey from the southeastern Serengeti in March and arriving in the Mara by mid-July. By October, the herds begin their return voyage back to the Serengeti. This truly once-in-a-lifetime experience awaits in a truly unique and awe-inspiring setting.

Aug 22: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast drive to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most popular game reserves, you’ll be greeted by the magnificent backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
This towering peak dominates the landscape, and the melting snow and glaciers feed the marshes and swamps that are home to numerous hippos and other aquatic wildlife. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and cape buffalo, as well as healthy populations of lion, cheetah, zebra, and wildebeest. You’ll spend the next three nights at a lodge located in the central portion of the park, enjoying daily morning and afternoon game drives. From the lodge grounds, marvel at the spectacular, panoramic views of the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. Soroi Amboseli Tented (BLD)
Aug 23/24: Amboseli National Park
Rise early to melodious songs of birds and mysterious sounds of wildlife. Embark on an early morning game drive when the animals are most active in search for food and water. As the day winds down, afternoon drives offer excellent photography opportunities as the sun sets over the mountains. The next day, two more game drives provide further chances to capture the wildlife on camera. The tour also includes a visit to a Masai village during your stay in the park. Aug 26: Samburu National Park
Early morning flight to Samburu National Park. Our permanent luxury camp is located on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River. The landscape and the vegetation in this area is very different from its southern counterparts. It is mainly a desert
area with open savannah broken by occasional rugged hills. The Ewaso Nyiro River flowing through the park, brings water to a wide variety of game including elephants, buffaloes, cheetah, leopard and lion, as well as game rarely seen
elsewhere such as oryx, reticulated giraffe, long-necked gerenuk and Grevy’s zebra. The lodge is set on the bank of the river and offers many opportunities for photography of wildlife right from the deck at the front of your luxury
lodge.
