January 28, Saturday Depart Los Angeles
Let the adventure begin when you board your overnight Virgin Atlantic Airways flight to London with meals and a movie on board.
January 29, Sunday London
Arrive at London Heathrow Terminal 3 and connect with your non stop overnight flight to Nairobi, Kenya.
January 30: Monday Nairobi
Arrive Nairobi this morning and connect your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight. (LD) Arumeru River Lodge
January 31- February 03: Tue-Fri Serengeti Plains
Today’s journey passes through the scenic areas of the southeastern Serengeti plains. The Ndutu Lodge, strategically located in the area which is alive with the migration. This time of the year is the birthing season when many babies are born. Four days are earmarked to witness nature’s greatest spectacle, the migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle and all of the predators. Daily morning and late afternoon game drives are planned for many outstanding photographic opportunities. (BLD) Ndutu Lodge
February 04/05: Sat/Sun Ngorongoro Crater
Depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area; host to the ‘birthplace of man’. It is also home to the unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to abundant game, including the “big five” – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch as you descend to the crater floor. Next morning, another game drive in the crater. Later in the afternoon, we will visit a nearby Masai village. (BLD) Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
February 06: Monday Nairobi
This morning drive to Arusha and lunch at the Arumeru River Lodge. Later connect with your flight to Nairobi and overnight in the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, once described by ornithologist Roger Tory-Peterson as ‘the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world’. Afternoon game viewing drive along the lakeshore. Next day morning and afternoon game drives in the park (BLD) Lion Hill Lodge
Feb 09/10/11: Thu/Fri/Sat Masai Mara
Drive to the Kenya’s most famous National park, the Masai Mara. We are going to the Mara to photograph the big cats, lions, leopards and cheetahs along with many other animals that live in the Mara year round. Lunch at the camp. Later this afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Next two days, morning and afternoon game drives are planned to explore and photograph the abundant wildlife. February 12: Sun Nairobi
Morning game drive followed by bush breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Afternoon time to relax or do some last minute shopping. Dinner at the hotel. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to London. (BLD) Day Room/Ole Sereni Hotel
February 13: Monday Arrive Los Angeles
Arrive London in the morning and connect with your flight home to share pleasant memories of your trip to Tanzania and Kenya with family and friends.
